AOPHA Awards Program AOPHA proudly honors outstanding members each year in a number of categories, recognizing organizational excellence and individual leadership in not-for-profit services for older Ohioans. AOPHA members are encouraged to nominate individuals, programs or groups in each awards category, which are presented at the annual conference. Award categories are:
Employee Recognition The STARS program annually recognizes employees of not-for-profit providers of services for older Ohioans who have been nominated by their employer or residents for exemplary service. STARS employees are honored at luncheons in AOPHA's eight regions throughout Ohio.
